Parker Ari Hershkowitz

Parker Hershkowitz will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Parker is the son of Mitch and Lili Hershkowitz. Parker has an older sister, Sophie (15). Parker is a 7th grade student at Saint Francis Middle School. He enjoys playing baseball and basketball and spending time with his family and friends.


In preparation for his Bar Mitzvah, Parker participated in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's to raise money for care, support, and research. He raised the second highest amount in Gwinnett County. Parker chose this charity to honor his late grandfather who had Alzheimer's. Parker is looking forward to being Bar Mitzvah and celebrating his special occasion with his family, as well as with his friends and everyone from Gesher L'Torah.

Hudson Douglas Cueny

Johanan Aharon will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, February 13, 2021.  Hudson is the son of Brian and Andrea Cueny.  His younger sister, Ella (10), is in the 5th grade.  Hudson is in 7th grade at  Webb Bridge Middle School. He enjoys water sports, football and spending time with family and friends.


In preparation for his Bar Mitzvah, Hudson has selected the Cohen Home as a great organization to support. He and his friends hand wrote notes of encouragement for each of the residents. He will also raise money to contribute towards the annual goal of building a full vegetable garden where residents and staff grow vegetables  to be consumed by them. Hudson is looking forward to his Bar Mitzvah and celebrating his special occasion with family, both near and far, with a virtual service hosted at his home.

Macklin Chase Rosenberg

Macklin Rosenberg will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, March 20, 2021.  Macklin is the daughter of Matt and Stacey Rosenberg. She has a younger brother Lleyton who is in the Second grade. Macklin is currently in 7th grade at Haynes Bridge Middle school. She enjoys playing soccer, binge-watching Netflix, baking, torturing her brother and hanging out with friends. 


Macklin participated in the smile bags project for Creating Connected Communities in which she helped provide children in need with resources to be more successful and cared for in uncertain times. She is excited for her upcoming Bat Mitzvah and is looking forward to seeing everyone virtually.
